About RMH Veterans
Launched in 2014, RMH Vets is a wilderness program that supports military veterans who are returning from GWOT deployments as well as those who are transitioning out of the service and into civilian life. Similar to our traditional Rocky Mountain High, RMH Vets is a weeklong backcountry excursion set in the Collegiate Peaks of Colorado, focused on spiritual renewal and preparation for difficult life transitions. This is a slow-paced backpacking excursion that involves hiking and camping along the scenic Colorado Trail in the San Isabel National Forest. The focus of this program is to give you time away from society in an amazing landscape filled with high alpine lakes, turning aspens, and like-minded comrades…time to think and process your recent experiences or upcoming transitions…and time alone with God…to conquer your summits or leave your struggles on the mountain. Come share an amazing week with us in the backcountry and renew your spirit.

What Veterans are Saying About RMH Vets
“This was an amazing time. I needed a break from the world and time to refocus with fellow believers. This was a breath of fresh air literally, spiritually, and physically. I deeply want to thank everyone who made this happen. What you did will go far beyond what you thought possible. Had an awesome time! THANK YOU!”
“This was a well needed eye-opener for me. I learned that I need to be a shield for my family and to be a better husband and father. I re-blued myself with Christ and have the vision He wants for me, not my own. This was perfect and I will be back with my family in the near future.”
“Awesome! I am so grateful that I was able to experience God’s creation up close and personal with men who are seeking the Lord. The fireside devotionals and conversations were some of the best ‘entertainment’ I’ve ever had. I loved that the interactions with the guys wasn’t centered around TV or movies.”
“This was a comfortable environment to be open, to expose my heart, my fears and my shortcomings to men who understand. I feel 90 pounds lighter like all the pressure was allowed to escape. I found Jesus here. I do not know how it would be possible to make this program better.”
